2	Ensure the levels of heavy & diesel service tanks, also for water drain, and check the oil level for Main & Aux. Engines.
3	Ensure the proper completion & drain of starting bottles, also the drain for starting air pipes.
4	Ensure the operational readiness of air compressors.
5	Check communication links with Bridge.
6	Is Main Engine ready for sailing?
7	Are Aux. Engines ready for maneuvering?
8	Check Main Engine cooling & lub. Oil pumps.
9	Check stand-by equipment for operational readiness.
10	Is the Engine Room and Stores free from stowaways?
11	Check bilges for any leakage.
12	Is the test – in – gear with bridge satisfactory.
13	Was steering main & st. by pumps switched on.
14	Ensure the proper function of steering gear with bridge.
15	Switch on the bow thruster.
