7	Is communications equipment ready for receiving the port instructions?
8	Are pilot embarkation arrangements ready (ladder-buoy & light)?
9	Is the pilot exchange information arranged?
10	Testing of M/E & testing gear carried out?
11	Steering gear tested (to be entered in logbook)
12	Is all the required navigational equipment in operation?
13	Is the manual steering now in operation?
14	Is depth of water for approaching areas defined?
15	Are mooring /windlass winch tested & ready for use?
